The Duke Ellington Society (TDES, Inc.) celebrates the music and life of composer, bandleader and pianist Duke Ellington, to develop an appreciation and understanding of his music among all people.

The Society was founded in 1959 as the Duke Ellington Jazz Society, devoted to promoting the appreciation of all aspects of Ellingtonia. Duke Ellington encouraged the Society's development.

TDES, Inc. is a 501C3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Your donations help print and mail our newsletter, rent space for our meetings, and provide you with parties for free with live music.
